Scandurra Studio curates the exhibition dedicated to Piero Portaluppi, one of the most eclectic and emblematic figures of twentieth-century Italian architecture. Hosted at the Triennale di Milano, the exhibition offers a visionary and immersive re-reading of his multifaceted work.

Words and images inhabit a total white space where scale is altered, and language becomes architecture. The installation plays on paradoxes—between lightness and monumentality, abstraction and ornament—mirroring Portaluppi’s personal interpretation of modernity. His ability to synthesize Futurism, Constructivism, Rationalism, and Art Deco finds expression in an allestimento that is both rigorous and poetic.

Original drawings, vintage photographs—including the remarkable documentation by Antonio Paoletti—scale models, decorative fragments, and design objects are brought together in a narrative that blends archival depth with spatial intensity. The exhibition becomes a device that amplifies the tension between historical reflection and contemporary staging, offering visitors a renewed lens through which to discover the complexity of Portaluppi’s legacy.
