This project was born from the intention to redevelop an urban area that over time has become increasingly disconnected from the rest of the city, creating a new space that harmoniously dialogues with its surroundings. The intervention develops through the dichotomy between the compact urban fabric of Viale Certosa and the lush greenery of Monte Stella, resulting in a complex that organically integrates the new with the existing. The three strategically placed buildings act as devices to soften the rigidity of the urban curtain along Viale Certosa while simultaneously opening the city towards the green area of Monte Stella.

The three buildings are arranged around a central void that brings order and clarity to the spatial arrangement at the ground level. This void, a garden protected by the linear building along Viale Certosa, becomes an oasis of tranquility and light, a green and quiet space available to the residential community, characterized by rich and diverse vegetation.

The project plays with the contrasting nature of the compact urban façade of Viale Certosa and the openness of the interior spaces, creating a visual balance. The elevation along Viale Certosa leverages the horizontal tension of the string courses, helping to define the form and identity of the entire complex, which integrates fluidly and sensitively into the surrounding urban landscape.
