Scandurra Studio on Lithuanian Media
Last month, on Italian Design Day 2025, promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), Alessandro Scandurra was presented as Italian Design Ambassador in Lithuania, during a public event at the Embassy of Italy in Vilnius.
The Conference, introduced by Italian Ambassador in Lithuania, Emanuele de Maigret, attracted major media interested in knowing more about our work, with a special focus on Scandurra Studio’s NEW Neighbourhood for Educational Wonder, winning project at the international competition “Future School for Ukraine”, promoted by the Lithuanian government to support a faster and efficient reconstruction of the country.

“NEW – Neighbourhood for Educational Wonder” is the winning project of the international competition “Future School for Ukraine”, initiated by Lithuanian government for a faster and efficient reconstruction of schools damaged after the invasion of Ukraine, implemented by Central Project Management Agency in partnership with Lithuanian Union of Architects. “NEW – Neighbourhood for Educational Wonder” was awarded for its adaptability, sustainability, and quick implementation. Funded by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid Fund, the project will serve as a model for building new schools in Ukraine.
