The project at Via Castel Morrone 5 in Milan is centered on a 1906 residential building, part of the continuous urban fabric that defines this area of the city. More than a transformation, it is an act of care and renewal, a dialogue between time, material, and living.

The aim is to bring new life to the building without altering its essence, guiding it into a new phase of habitation. The recovery of the attic, the restoration of the façades, the reorganization of the interiors, and the reinterpretation of the courtyard are light, precise gestures of adaptation, where function and memory coexist.

The street façades regain their original elegance through careful restoration, while the courtyard elevations open to a more contemporary language, green balustrades, ceramic surfaces, new openings, in a quiet balance between history and the present.

The roof, redesigned in a French-style configuration, accommodates new living spaces with lightness, respecting the original proportions of the building.

At its heart, the courtyard becomes a shared garden: a place for meeting and calm, for movement and pause.
