The Zurich headquarters needed a hybrid space that could be used for both private and public events: the environment is, in fact, a fusion of an auditorium and a meeting room.

The room has a trapezoidal base and is made up of an irregular volume in the shape of a truncated pyramid placed on its side, reproducing the form of a visual cone.

From the outside, the building takes on the same shape as a stage set, with the seating for the audience not hiding its function. The tapering towards the diffuser shapes the volume, a solidification of the lines of a perspective cone. The auditorium becomes a tool for seeing and hearing.

The long side of the room lets in natural light, while the short side is used for digital image projection. A series of perspective grids, optical surfaces, and diaphragms cut the light that spreads and becomes an image. The walls and ceiling of the auditorium reproduce a fading effect, from white light to the black of darkness, like a perspective distortion and forcing of light.
