The Scandurra studio was tasked with designing a Milanese apartment in the city centre for a young family. Immersed in the atmosphere of Brera, the apartment was conceived and designed in all its parts, establishing a dense dialogue with the tradition of Milanese interiors and offering an updated and never-predictable interpretation.

Sobriety and elegance, which can be found even in the smallest details, are the defining features of the stylistic language of the entire intervention.

The kitchen, dining room, and living room make up a unique and continuous space where the gaze can roam freely without encountering obstacles. Tones, colours, and materials give uniformity and define an enveloping comfort; decorations and details create an environment of Milanese elegance, reinterpreted and never ostentatious.

Mobili su disegno con finiture di pregio distinguono i diversi ambienti e ne definiscono il carattere. Un mobile in acero, con ripiano in ottone brunito, funge da divisorio tra la cucina e il soggiorno; la sua funzione è duplice: mobile bar, sul fronte cucina, e armadio in cui contenere il televisore, sul lato del soggiorno.

Particular attention has been paid to the design of the wall panelling and ceiling stucco in the large room. These are motifs with a more or less regular arrangement that replicate geometries found in the Milanese decorative imagination and contribute to characterising the apartment.
