INTERN ARCHITECT

Scandurra Studio Architettura is looking for a curricular intern to join the team in the Milan office.

Role and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Leader and the project team, the intern will contribute to the architectural design process, supporting the team in meeting deadlines and quality standards. The main activities include:

• development of renovation and new construction projects;
• elaboration of design concepts;
• preparation of technical drawings and construction details;
• participation in project phases: feasibility, preliminary design, final design, and executive design.

Learning Objectives:

The internship aims to actively involve the intern in a dynamic and multidisciplinary work environment by supporting the development of residential and cultural projects. The intern will be involved in all stages of the design process and will have the opportunity to interact with professionals of different seniority and roles, collaborating both with team members and with Studio Coordinators and Project Leaders. By preparing supporting materials for client presentations and participating in internal project reviews, the intern will also have the opportunity to develop a structured professional methodology.

Requirements:

• basic knowledge of materials, construction systems, and finishes;
• precision and reliability in producing project drawings;
• excellent knowledge of Italian and good knowledge of English;
• strong teamwork skills and good interpersonal abilities;
• creative thinking and good contextual analysis skills;
• knowledge of main design software (Revit, AutoCAD), graphic tools, and 3D modeling software (Rhino).

Internship Duration: 

As per university curriculum.

ARCHITECT

Scandurra Studio Architettura is looking for an Architect to join our team in Milan/Turin.

Role Description:

The selected candidate will contribute to the architectural design process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and the Studio’s quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• development of renovation and new construction projects;
• concept design creation;
• preparation of technical drawings and construction details;
• participation in all project phases (preliminary, detailed, and executive design);
• collaboration with clients to develop innovative and functional architectural solutions.

Requirements:

• professional experience in BIM and architectural design;
• strong knowledge of materials, construction systems, and finishes;
• high precision in drafting technical drawings;
• fluency in Italian and good knowledge of English;
• excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills;
• creative thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities;
• independence in task management, time planning, and problem resolution;
• proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software.

Education: Degree in Architecture or Engineering.

Experience: 

At least 2 years of professional experience.

• understanding of architectural drawings;
• critical thinking and analytical skills for concept development and contextual analysis**.
