Within the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Festival Lirico Areniano and of the celebrations for the 200th anniversary of both Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner’s birth, Fondazione Arena di Verona presented the Werdi Vagner multimedia exhibition, carried out in collaboration with Classica Italia and Skira Classica.
The exhibition is set up in the halls of the Gran Guardia Palace in Verona, near the Arena, a classical music symbolic place.
Werdi Vagner is an interactive exhibition show, aimed at comparing the works and personalities of Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner, playing each time with different media tools.
Through several interactive games you can go from sections dedicated to the listening of great interpreters to the rooms with musical and animation videos. The exhibition path is developed around some evocative themes which are recurrent in the works of both composers: Love, the Hero, the Night, Death and Party, linking each theme with a specific musical aspect.
